Saigon Culture Night – A O Show & Southern Fine Dining
A private, Korean-interpreted evening of contemporary Vietnamese performance and refined gastronomy.
Overview:
This curated night in Saigon brings together three elements of modern Vietnamese culture: contemporary theatre, elevated Southern cuisine and the luminous cityscape after dark. Designed for two Korean guests travelling on business or leisure, it is a quiet, thoughtful celebration of Saigon’s creative soul.
Key details:
- Duration: 16:30 – 21:30
- Ideal group size: 2 guests (private)
- Vehicle: Hyundai Palisade or similar, chauffeur in suit
- Language: Korean-speaking interpreter
Itinerary (condensed narrative):
- Hotel Pick-up & Shan Tuyet Tea Ritual (16:30 – 17:00)
Your chauffeur and Korean interpreter greet you in the lobby and escort you to a private Hyundai Palisade. As the city slowly shifts from day to evening, you are welcomed with Shan Tuyet – a rare ancient-tree tea from Vietnam’s northern highlands – served in crystal glassware to gently reset your senses. - A O Show at Saigon Opera House (17:00 – 19:10)
You arrive at the historic Saigon Opera House at least 30 minutes before curtain. A O Show blends bamboo circus, contemporary dance, acrobatics and live traditional music into a poetic story of rural life and urbanisation in Vietnam. With your interpreter by your side, the performance becomes both emotional and intelligible – a bridge between Korean and Vietnamese narratives. - Southern Fine Dining at XU Restaurant & Lounge (19:10 – 20:45)
After the show, your car takes you to XU Restaurant & Lounge, one of Saigon’s most respected contemporary Vietnamese restaurants. You savour a curated set menu of elevated Southern dishes – from lightly spiced stir-fried prawns and soft-shell crab with salted egg yolk to grilled beef in betel leaf and lotus-seed dessert, paired with selected wine or non-alcoholic pairing as you prefer. - Private Night Drive Through Saigon (20:45 – 21:30)
To close the evening, your chauffeur takes you on a gentle night drive through central District 1. You pass landmarks such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, Bitexco Tower and Nguyen Hue Walking Street, with time for photo stops if you wish, before returning to your hotel.
